Hello Good Day LLC
Effective September 25, 2026
Big Bass does not collect your progress, your practice, or anything you play. Lessons, settings, streaks, and songs you import stay on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your personal iCloud account. We can't see any of it. The app sends only three small things, none of which identify you: an anonymous once-a-day "app opened" count, a record of any App Store purchase, and feedback if you choose to send it.
Completed lessons, practice streaks, drill results, your bass and tuning choice, metronome settings, and songs you import into the Jam tab are saved on your device. If iCloud is turned on, your lesson progress and streaks also sync through your private iCloud account, which is controlled by your Apple Account and accessible only to you.
The app has no advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, and no accounts. It sends only:
The tuner uses the microphone only while the Tune tab is open, to detect which note you're playing. Audio is analyzed on your device as it comes in. It is never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere.
Songs you import into the Jam tab are copied into the app's private storage on your device so you can slow them down and loop them. They are never uploaded. Removing a song in the app deletes the app's copy; the original file is not touched.
Any purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to the transaction.
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The data described above is anonymous.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
