A 1v1 word hunt you can play with a friend
Boxy Foxy is a 1v1 word-hunt game where two players get the same 8 by 8 board and 90 seconds. You can challenge a friend on Game Center, and you each play whenever you are free.
Swipe or type to spell words. Every tile you use is one your opponent can't, and whoever scores higher when the clock hits zero wins.
How Boxy Foxy does it
- Choose Play a Friend and pick someone on Game Center.
- Pick a mode: Classic, where the board stays put; Reset, where letters reroll after every word; or Blitz, with a shorter timer and higher multipliers.
- Play your turn by swiping or using the in-app A to Z keyboard.
- Game Center notifies your friend when it is their turn.
- See your score mapped onto Fox Rank, a seven-tier ladder from Cub to Legend.
Questions
Can I play alone?
Yes. Vs Foxy lets you pick Easy, Normal or Hard against a local bot, or flip on Play alone for a solo run against the clock.
Is there a daily game?
Yes. The Daily Arena is one global puzzle a day against Foxy, with a leaderboard and an archive of the last 30 days.
Does Boxy Foxy track me?
No. There are no ads and no cross-app tracking, and Game Center handles your identity.
