Countdown puts the number of days until your event on your Home Screen, with a free widget and no paywall on the basics. You get unlimited countdowns and count-ups, no ads and no account.
It suits anyone whose dates sneak up on them. Your countdowns sync privately through iCloud, so a new phone never means starting over.
How Countdown does it
- Add an event and its date.
- Use a pattern date such as "3rd Sunday of May" for floating holidays, or turn on workdays-only counting to skip weekends.
- Pick a card and one of the curated colors.
- Add the widget to your Home Screen.
- Sort with tags, custom views, search and archive as your list grows.
Questions
Can I count up from a past date?
Yes. Count-ups show the days since a date, and they are part of the free basics.
What does Premium add?
Premium adds every visualization, the Year Grid, photo backgrounds, multi-event and Lock Screen widgets, reminder notifications and two-way Apple Calendar sync.
Can I keep the date on my Lock Screen?
Yes. Lock Screen widgets are a Premium feature, and Live Activities keep the big day on your Lock Screen.
