Earbeats
See your AirPods Pro 3 heart rate without starting a workout
Ear Beats shows the heart rate from your AirPods Pro 3 as soon as they go in, and no workout is saved to your Fitness history. One bud is enough, and you can see the number on your Lock Screen, in a widget or in the Dynamic Island.
The app needs an iPhone or iPad on iOS 26. Live in-ear tracking needs AirPods Pro 3, the only AirPods with a heart-rate sensor.
How Earbeats does it
- Install Ear Beats on your iPhone.
- Put your AirPods Pro 3 in, and tracking starts automatically.
- Check the Live Activity for your live heart rate and a one-minute graph, with Pause and Stop right there.
- Add a Home Screen or Lock Screen widget for your latest BPM.
- Review History for each session, charted with min, average and peak.
Questions
What if I do not have AirPods Pro 3?
The camera pulse check works on any iPhone. Cover the rear camera with a fingertip for a guided reading.
Does it write to Apple Health?
Only if you turn that on, and the only thing it writes is your heart rate.
Where does my heart rate go?
It never leaves your iPhone except to your own private iCloud. There is no account and no server that sees it.
