Ocean Digest lets you design a fish tank in the app and put it on your Home Screen, where the fish keep swimming all day. Widgets come in small, medium, large and extra large.
You start free with the starter fish and one tank. A one-time Unlock Everything purchase adds every fish, every prop pack and up to 10 tanks, with no subscription, no account and no ads.
How Ocean Digest does it
- Pick your fish. The full collection has more than 100 fish and sea creatures, from goldfish to seahorses and koi.
- Drag props onto the tank and pinch to resize coral, shells, crystals and more.
- Choose a tank style named for Trinidad and Tobago, such as Maracas Sunset or Pitch Lake, and a sand floor or open water.
- Turn on time-of-day light, bubbles, or a clock and date.
- Add the widget to your Home Screen and choose which tank it shows.
Questions
Can I stop the animation?
Yes. Turn widget animation off any time for a still picture of your tank.
Are there glowing fish?
Yes. Deep-sea jellyfish, anglerfish and hatchetfish glow with their own soft light.
Can I watch it on a bigger screen?
Yes. Your tanks sync through iCloud to iPad, Mac and Apple TV, where it fills the screen.
