Pitch & Taw does not ask for your name or any account, and it never shows ads. Your games, progress and settings stay on your device. The app sends only three small things: an anonymous once-a-day "app opened" count, a record of any App Store purchase, and feedback if you choose to send it.
Your game progress, stats (games played, wins, best clear) and settings (marble packs, court, sound, haptics, aim and accessibility options) are stored only on your device. We can't see them. Deleting the app deletes them. If a future version offers iCloud saving and you turn it on, your progress is also stored in your own private iCloud account. We can't see that either.
1. Daily "app opened" count. Once a day the app sends an anonymous ping with a random install ID created by the app, the app version and the iOS version. This lets us count how many people use the app. The install ID is not your Apple Account, not your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and not the vendor identifier (IDFV). It is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other apps or websites.
2. Purchase records. If you buy a marble pack (when packs go on sale), a copy of Apple's signed receipt for that transaction (product, transaction ID and date) is sent to our sales dashboard. Apple processes the payment. We never receive your name, payment card or Apple Account details.
3. Feedback you send. If you tap "Send feedback" in the app, we receive the category and message you write, plus the app version, build number, device model (for example "iPhone17,1"), iOS version and language setting. Feedback is anonymous: there's no name or email field, so we can't see who sent it and can't reply to it.
VoiceOver announcements, Easy aim and the app's other accessibility options run entirely on your device and send nothing.
Pass-and-play and games against the computer happen entirely on your device. Pitch & Taw has no online play, chat or friend list, so nothing about your games is shared with other people.
No advertising, ever. No tracking across apps or websites. No selling or sharing of data. No accounts.
The app is rated 4+. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The daily count, purchase records and feedback described above are anonymous.
