These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Hello Good Day LLC ("we," "our," "us"), developer of the WILingo iOS app. By downloading, installing, or using WILingo, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
WILingo is an educational app for learning West Indian English vocabulary, Caribbean proverbs, and affirmations. The app runs entirely on your device. There is no account, no subscription, and no in-app purchases.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use WILingo on Apple devices that you own or control. Your use is also subject to the App Store Terms of Service and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement for Licensed Applications, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the app, except as permitted by applicable law.
The vocabulary, sayings, and affirmations bundled with WILingo are provided for educational and cultural appreciation. Caribbean English varies by island, region, family, and generation. Definitions, origins, and example sentences reflect commonly understood meanings but are not authoritative — language is living, and your community's usage may differ.
The built-in content is the intellectual property of Hello Good Day LLC and contributors. You may use it personally within the app. You may not extract, redistribute, or republish it as a dataset or competing product without our written permission.
WILingo lets you add your own words, sayings, and affirmations through the "Custom Entries" feature. Custom Entries are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us or shared with other users.
You are responsible for the content you add. You agree not to add content that:

The affirmations in WILingo are motivational and cultural in nature. They are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice and are not a substitute for a qualified professional. If you need support, please reach out to a doctor, counselor, or other qualified provider.

WILINGO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific feature will continue to be available.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or content, arising out of or related to your use of WILingo. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app — which, since WILingo is free, is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow this limitation; where that is the case, the limitation applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.
WILingo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.
These Terms are between you and Hello Good Day LLC; they are not between you and Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for WILingo. Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them. To the extent of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Standard EULA controls on matters Apple specifies.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted at hellogoodday.com/wilingo/terms with a revised effective date. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
You can stop using WILingo at any time by uninstalling it — this also removes all your local data. We may discontinue the app or any feature at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the app will be resolved in the courts located in Florida, unless applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in a different forum.
