Pattern projector

Project your pattern at true 1:1.

Cut and Sew turns your Mac and a projector into a cutting table. It beams your PDF sewing pattern onto the fabric at true scale — then has you measure a test square with a tape, so you know one inch projected is one inch cut.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

How do I know the scale is exact?

Cut and Sew projects a test square that you measure with a tape. If it measures true, one inch projected is one inch cut. If the projector gets bumped, you can re-verify in under a minute.

Is Cut and Sew free?

Yes, it’s free to project, and calibration and scale verification are always free. Cut and Sew Pro adds print-at-home and copy-shop export, seam-allowance add/remove, and unlimited saved patterns — as a one-time purchase, or an optional $2.99/month auto-renewing subscription.

What kinds of PDFs can I import?

Single large-format (A0/copy-shop) PDFs, or multi-page tiled PDFs, which Cut and Sew stitches together automatically. On layered patterns you can show only your size.

Do I need a projector?

No. You can print at home on Letter, A4, A3, or Legal with a test square and assembly map, or export one true-scale file for a copy shop.

Does buying on iPhone unlock the Mac?

Yes. Cut and Sew Pro is a universal purchase, so buying on iPhone or iPad unlocks the Mac too.

What is Cut and Sew, who is it for, and what does it run on?
